Roadstar SAFARI Voyager Sapphire
The Voyager Sapphire comes from the Roadstar up market range of caravans.
The chassis itself is built and designed with a heavy duty boxed steel Supergal chassis which provides the van with a robust chassis, which the A frame is extended to the door step for the front door version, and to the axle on rear door layouts as a standard feature.
In keeping with the up market theme of the van, polished alloy 15 or 16 off road wheels are available fitted to the tandem axles, which are fitted with simplicity independent suspension.
In addition the Safari range allows you to partly raise the chassis by 2 for the 14 wheels or 6 ILO of 4chassis. For the real adventurer the option to extend the A frame past the suspension is also available as an option. Chassis attachment include two 80 litre water tanks, quick release corner stabilizer legs, rear bumper bar with spare wheels, two drawbar-mounted 9kg gas cylinders and a centre mounted jockey wheel. Underneath the van reveals galvanised sheets protecting the water tanks and drain taps on the tanks.
Other distinctive features of the Voyager Sapphire range are the front and rear fiberglass moulding, which make quite a difference to the appearance of the van. The front boot lid larger than normal, providing easy access. The boot lid lock has a large, distinctive key, which means it will stand out on a key ring.
The Voyager Sapphire comes standard with an extensive range of safety features consisting of over pressure relief value on gas cylinders, smoke detectors, electric brakes to all wheels, residual current device (earth leakage detector, temperature limiting valve on luxury Ensuite models, fire safety kit with 1kg fire extinguisher & security fire blanket and water purifying filter.
